History of Our Funeral Home
The funeral home is located on the tranquil North Fork of Long Island among vineyards and beautiful farmland. Originators William and Helen Coster built and established the funeral home in 1986 and operated the William F. Coster Funeral Home until February, 2008, when it was purchased by Mark and Karen (Trubisz) Heppner, natives with roots in the community. We are a family-owned and operated funeral home servicing all faiths.
Professional and Community Involvement
Our affiliations include: National Funeral Directors Association, New York State Funeral Directors Association, Nassau-Suffolk Funeral Directors Association, PrePlan, North Fork Chamber of Commerce, Knights of Columbus, Columbiettes, and Loyal Order of Moose. We are an exclusive provider of Veterans and Family Memorial Care. Mark is a volunteer firefighter, serving as Past Chief and is a member of the New York State Fire Chief’s Association. Mark is an alumnus of Nassau Community College and Karen is a graduate of American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service in NYC.
